Some people talk about pushing limits. Jackson builds a life around it.

Some people talk about pushing limits. Jackson builds a life around it.

As the founder of Advance CBD and Movement4, Jackson doesn’t separate high performance from real life. He’s proof that training hard, living well, and staying connected isn’t some elusive balance, it’s a daily choice. His life is built around momentum, discipline, and doing sh*t that matters.

We caught up with him for the Cool Humans Doing Cool Sh*t series to talk recovery, challenge, consistency, and what it really means to live like you mean it.

What’s the coolest sh*t you’ve done that made you think, “Yep, this is why I do what I do”?

Honestly? Living a life that feels like mine. I train 5 to 7 times a week, I hit the sauna and ice bath every day, I get out on the golf course, I’m around people who energise me, and most importantly, I’m present with my family. That’s the dream, and it didn’t happen by accident.
Everything I’ve built, from Advance to Movement 4AU, comes back to one thing: creating systems that allow me to show up fully. That’s why I do what I do. Because I love my life, and I want others to feel the same in theirs.

What’s your most underrated life hack for performing at your best?

Consistency. No hype, no fluff just doing the work, every day. Most people are chasing shortcuts. They want the overnight fix or some hack that will do the heavy lifting for them. But real results come from boring consistency. It’s the unsexy stuff, hydration, sleep, movement, good food, staying calm under pressure.
When you show up and tick those same boxes every single day, eventually it stops being a grind. It becomes your standard.

When you think about living a fulfilling life, what does that actually look like for you day-to-day?

It’s simple, but deliberate. I wake up early and hydrate first thing. Then it’s meditation, ice bath, and movement it primes my mind and body. I carve out time for my family, eat well, train hard, and wrap the day with a sauna or golf session to reset.

It’s not about perfection. It’s about choosing habits that serve you, every day. That’s where fulfillment comes from not just doing the big stuff, but nailing the small stuff consistently.

What’s been your biggest lesson from building Advance that more people need to hear?

Change can happen in an instant but most people wait way too long to make the decision.

The reality is: you don’t need more information. You need a catalyst. Something that flicks the switch and makes you commit to doing things differently. That’s what Advance has become for a lot of people.

It’s not just about CBD it’s about what it represents. Choosing to prioritise your recovery, to move with intention, to get serious about what fuels you. Once people experience that shift, it’s hard to go back.

How do you decide which challenges are worth chasing—and which ones aren’t?

I keep it brutally simple: Will this make my life, and my family’s life, better?
If the answer is yes, it’s a green light. If not, I let it go. There’s no room for ego goals or distractions. Everything I take on has to feed back into a bigger mission more energy, more freedom, more time for the people I care about.

That filter keeps me focused on what matters.
